Time Travel through Japanese History 3ds max, Photoshop September 2010
This is an illustration of the Anime Characters from the Animexx Anime & Manga Community (www.animexx.de) leaping back in time with a steampunk train.
I considered leaving out the kamikaze, as it might be to harsh for the atmosphere, but I decided not to, as it's an important part of the Japanese history without any judgement whether it was good or bad. The fact that the anime figures are part of the history itself closes the circle.
